How long is flight a) Philadelphia/Orlando b) New York/Orlando? - flights from glasgow to heathrow

The family, now at Heathrow and that because of snow on the morning flight from Glasgow / Heathrow was delayed on arrival and check 5 minutes before close. They went to Philadelphia and Orlando. Now they fly during the day in New York and Orlando. I wonder if they keep losing, or more time to go this route. I suspect that flights between Heathrow and New York and Philadelphia 7 to 8 hours.
